Ronald Lee Turbyfill, age 74, of Elk Park passed away on May 23, 2016 at Life Care Center of Banner Elk.A native of Avery County, he was born August 22, 1941 a son of the late Charles William and Okie Alice Darnell Turbyfill.He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming.Along with his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his: wife, Lillian Campbell Turbyfill; four brothers, IB, Roger, Charles, Hardy and Lester.Ronald has left to cherish his memory his: brothers, Wayne Turbyfill and wife Lora of Elizabethton, TN, Charles Edward Turbyfill of Elk Park, NC; sisters, Ruth Reed, Mildred White and husband Don, Hursley Reed and Lola Turbyfill all of Morganton, NC.Funeral services for Ronald Lee Turbyfill will be conducted on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Grandfather Chapel of Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Greene officiating. Interment will follow in the Isaacs Cemetery.
