Lillie "Pat" Patricia Hutcheson

Lillie Patricia Hutcheson of Crossnore, NC passed away Sunday November 15, 2015 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC after an extended illness. Pat was born in Jonesboro, Tn. January 18, 1950 to the late Henry Arthur and Mable Elizabeth McNeese. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step mother Jessie Green McNeese, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 grandson. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 40 years Eddie, son Michael Gobble of Manning, SC, son Michael Hutcheson of Crossnore, son Chris Hutcheson and wife Tracy of Crossnore, grandson Caleb Hutcheson of Crossnore, grandson Tyler Hutcheson and wife Sierra of Pineola, NC with soon-to-be great grandson Easton Hayes Hutcheson, grandson Adrian Boone of Burnsville, NC, sister Judy Johnson and husband Corbett of Crossnore, sisters Brenda Booth and Annie Lyon of Johnson City, Tn., brother Junior McNeese and wife Karen of Gray, Tn., brother Bobby Green of Johnson City, Tn., as well as dozens of nieces and nephews. Pat had just recently retired from managing a women's clothing store in Spruce Pine, NC for almost 20 years. She was a city girl who found out she was meant to be a mountain girl after she married Eddie. The first gift Eddie ever bought her was a fishing rod and reel, after that she loved nothing more, other than her family and her God, than being on a trout stream in Montana with Eddie, Judy and Corbett, or in a boat on some lake around home with Eddie. She loved sunrises, sunsets, mountains, fast running streams, wild animals, snow, hummingbirds, wildflowers and travel with Eddie. Funeral services for Pat will be held at Crossnore First Baptist Church in Crossnore Thursday November 19, visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the service to follow. Pastors Tony Clark and Harold Bennet will officiate. The graveside service with be held 1:00 PM Friday November 20 at the Cuthbertson Cemetary in Crossnore.
