Johnny Ray McCoury

Johnny Ray McCoury, age 57, of Newland passed away on February 18, 2017 at his residence.A native of Cranberry, NC, he was born January 1, 1960 a son of the late Billy Ray and Rosalee Henson McCoury.He was a proud US Navy Veteran and the Owner and Operator of McCoury's Drywall Service. He was a member of the Cranberry Baptist Church where he was Baptized as a child.Johnny has left to cherish his memory his: Fiancé', Barbara Clark of the home; sisters, Lisa King of Newland, Rachel McCoury of Virginia; and his loving dog, Bella.Funeral services for Johnny McCoury will be conducted on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Cranberry Baptist Church with Rev. David Burnop officiating. Interment will follow in the Cranberry Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Pat Ray Post of the VFW.
